consists of two 3-story, 15-unit buildings and six 2 1/2-story townhomes. A groundbreaking ceremony for the development was
held on April 7th, 2005.

Condo Developer Promises To Rebuild After $2 Million Arson
A local developer won't let an arsonist run her out of a south Saint Louis neighborhood. Her condo complex burned to the
ground two weeks ago. Now she's speaking out about the investigation, the evidence, and her dedication to rebuild. The
Compton Gate Condos were under construction and on schedule to be finished this fall.

A 36-unit condominium development will rise again from the ashes brought on by a spectacular four-alarm fire. "They're going
to rebuild," said Alderman Stephen Conway, D-8th Ward.Conway spoke of the $10 million Compton Gate Condominiums under
construction at 2201 S. Grand Boulevard, which burned Thursday.

Fire destroys under-construction condos in south St. Louis
No one was hurt this morning, but a mult-million dollar condo development in south St. Louis was destroyed by a four-alarm
fire. The Compton Gate Condominiums at Grand and Flad were destroyed; the project was to bring more 30 upscale condos and six town
homes to the Shaw neighborhood. Developer Ken Neurenberger said he plans to rebuild.

Condos will go up on site of former Shoney's Restaurant
Where waitresses once served pancakes and sausages, a 36-unit condominium development will rise. A groundbreaking ceremony for
the new Compton Gate Condominiums was held Thursday at 2201 S. Grand Boulevard, the site of a shuttered Shoney's restaurant.
The $10 million development will be at the edge of the Shaw neighborhood and across the street from the gates to the Compton
Heights neighborhood.

Shaw Neighborhood to See New Development
With the historic Compton Heights Gates in the background, Mayor Francis G. Slay and other dignitaries break ground for the
new Compton Gate Condominiums. The new $10 million, 36-unit development being built in the Shaw Neighborhood is expected to be
completed Summer 2006.
