Local developer TRiSTAR Business Communities bought the Moolah Temple in 1988. In 2000 plans were announced to renovate
the building in to high-tech office space, focusing on e-commerce firms -- and then the dot-com bubble burst.
Most recently, this four-story Moorish and Arabic style building was taken under the wings of Amrit and Amy Gill. Their
initial plan was to renovate the building into a 1000+ seat performing arts theater. The final concept had evolved into 40
apartments, two-story penthouse lofts, a 500-seat movie theater and an eight-lane bowling alley.
