Housing panel OKs condo and townhouse plan
Plans to build townhouses and condominiums at the former St. Louis Public School Nursery were approved last week by the St.
Louis Board of Aldermen's Housing and Urban Development Committee. The $25 million proposal now goes to the full board for
consideration.

HRI, Conrad closing in on Cupples Station projects
HRI Properties will close by the end of the year on its deal to renovate a building in the historic Cupples Station warehouse
complex into apartments. Meanwhile, Conrad Properties is proceeding with its plans to purchase the building on the southwest
corner of Spruce and 10th Streets, which it plans to redevelop as up to 50 condominiums that it will market to first-time
buyers.

Developer will dress up downtown, Lafayette sites

The old Ely & Walker Dry Goods warehouse at 1520 Washington Avenue will be rehabbed into 180 condominiums and renamed
the Ely Walker Lofts. The developers also plan to construct 37 townhomes and vintage style row houses in Lafayette Square.
